The service is offered by the Seller (freelancer) and bought by the buyer(employer) Five dollars is the popular starting price for offers on Fiverr. Before you are able to buy or sell anything you must first sign up.Africans can sign up and either sell or buy a freelancer.

HOW TO GET STARTED WHILE IN AFRICA

Click 

Enter your email address and click Continue.

Note: You can also join with Facebook and Google Connect.

Choose a username.

Note:
- Your username cannot be changed once you've activated your account.
- Your username is your display name (within your Fiverr URL), so choose it wisely.
- Your username can be up to 15 characters max. and cannot contain special characters.

Choose a password and click Join.

You are now a registered user on Fiverr. An email will be sent for you to activate your account.

Note: This activation link in the email will be valid for 30 days. After 30 days, when logged in to Fiverr, you can click Resend and you will receive another email also active for 30 days.

Within the email you receive from Fiverr, click Activate Account

How to buy and sell.

Buyers are able to browse the homepage and category pages, or use the search to find a Gig they wish to purchase. It is important as the buyer to read through the description of the services offered and if available the seller’s work samples. When a buyer is ready to make a purchase, it is time to proceed to checkout. There are several ways to pay for the Gig. All purchases are subject to a processing fee, $1 on purchases up to and including $20 and 5% on purchases above $20.

Sellers

Buyers pay Fiverr for orders in advance. Sellers keep 80% of each Gig they sell and successfully complete and deliver. For example, each $5 Gig you sell and successfully deliver, accredits your account with a net revenue of $4. Fiverr accredits sellers once an order is completed. As you build your rating on Fiverr it is possible to start to raise your rates for Gigs. Each Gig is different and therefore maybe subject to a rates change.

HOW TO SET UP YOU GIG

click Selling >

Start Selling, fill out your seller profile, and then proceed to creating your Gig. In the GIG TITLE field, write a title of up to 80 characters. Your title should be short, clear, and to the point. 

Click on finish. 

Now wait for an employer.
